Happy New Year friends! We at Here’s To Our Health wish you many blessings and successes throughout 2013.

Being the first day of this new and exciting year, it’s a great time to reflect on all that we have learned in 2012, and also think about what we are looking forward to in the coming year. My husband and I are ready for a wonderful year in our new home with our puppy dogs, growing healthier and happier every day.

Kris Carr Is Awesome

Hi friends!

Wow, it’s been too long since my last post! What is up with that?! Well friends, life has been crazy – in a good way! My hubby and I have bought a house (wowza!), I changed positions with Alzheimer’s Association (I’m the new Walk To End Alzheimer’s Coordinator!), and in two weeks I will complete my certification as a Wellness Coaching Specialist. Exciting stuff!

Well today I’d like to take a moment to introduce you to the website of Kris Carr, in case you haven’t heard of her yet (highly unlikely)! You may know her from her documentary Crazy Sexy Cancer, or her book Crazy Sexy Cancer Tips, or Crazy Sexy Diet, or one of her other books or her radio station. She is a mover and a shaker in the wellness world, and for good reason! After being diagnosed with cancer at a young age, she changed her life for the better in many ways and aims to support you in changing yours as well! She’s become a highly respected wellness guru, and continues to be an example of how we all can thrive in our bodies and our lives, no matter what the diagnosis.

And she even gives out free recipes here! What a gal.
